INFORMATION
There's a difference between covering an odor and eliminating it. Fragrance sprays and air fresheners mask the smell temporarily but leave the source untouched. Our odor removal service targets the source - fabric, carpet, headliner, and HVAC - with professional odor eliminator that neutralizes compounds instead of covering them. For cigarette smoke, which bonds to soft surfaces throughout the cabin, treatment may require multiple passes on heavily saturated vehicles.
The most common odor calls we get in Greenville County: cigarette/vape smoke in a vehicle being sold or passed down, dog smell in rear seats and cargo areas, mildew from a cracked window during summer thunderstorms, and food/drink spills left too long in a hot car. Greenville's summer heat accelerates odor development - a spilled coffee in July becomes a serious smell by the end of the week.
Odor removal is a standalone service or can be added to any detailing package. For pre-sale vehicles, it's one of the highest-ROI details you can do - odors kill buyer confidence instantly. For everyday use, if you've been masking the smell with fresheners for months, a single proper treatment fixes it. Same-day available most days (+$50).

Can you remove pet odors from my car?
Yes. Pet odor, especially urine, soaks into fabric and carpet padding. We treat the surface and as deep into the material as the product penetrates. For severe pet odor with visible staining, the $200 minimum stain removal service should be paired with odor treatment.
How long does odor removal take?
The treatment process is 30–60 minutes. We recommend leaving the vehicle to off-gas for a few hours after treatment for best results. We'll walk you through aftercare instructions at the end of the appointment.
Does odor treatment damage my interior?
No. We use products appropriate for the specific surfaces in your vehicle - safe for fabric, leather, vinyl, and plastic. Nothing harsh or bleach-based. If there are delicate materials (Alcantara, perforated leather, etc.), let us know at booking.
What if the odor comes back after treatment?
If the odor source is fully removed, it won't come back on its own. Residual smell during the first 24–48 hours post-treatment is normal as the product works. If odor returns after that, it usually means there's a secondary source (e.g., a spill under a seat) that needs additional treatment. We'll work with you to resolve it. For ongoing odor prevention, regular interior care through our detailing membership is the best long-term solution.
